長洲居民協會, 1941

長洲居民協會乃二次大戰期間日本軍隊以大東亞共榮圈名義所創立之組織.

根據1950年代香港殖民地政府新界南理民官Austin Coates, 報告由於此組織選舉甚為混亂因而與之斷絕交往.

長洲居民協會之內鬥導致由此社團管理之黃維則堂所捐獻之租金收益亦不能順利過度予由港府於1960成立取代之的長洲鄉事委員會.其時新界南理民官James Hayes於1957-1962年間記錄.

更甚者,由長洲居民協會管理之方便醫院仍然由它繼續管理, 另其下位於北帝廟旁的龍舟儲存庫亦被轉為龍船會旗下.
